Ensuring users can view Duplicate Records in Dynamics 365 v9

Recently one of our Dynamics 365 clients came to us saying that some users were unable to see the results of a duplicate detection rule when entering new contacts. Instead of seeing the duplicates that had been found by the rule, an empty view like the one below was displaying:

After a bit of thinking we realised this had to be an issue with the security roles assigned to the users. The users had three assigned roles and after some inspection we realised that we had neglected to assign them read permissions for the Duplicate Detection Rule entity.

We updated the security role and then tested on a new contact and now the correct view of duplicate records was displayed.
